Yes, there is a difference. The milk allergy is more severe in May. I think intolerance is associated with milk lactose ensyme. If this is the problem then Lactaid pills help you to digest. I also believe that similar symptoms May following the consumption of dairy products. I research and talk to a doctor. I have a link to an article later.

Of lactose intolerance is not an allergy is simply a person who does not produce the enzyme lactase in the brush border. I'm not sure what setting he allergic to milk when the milk does not take to break out in hives? Neither weight gain more than weight loss in lactose intolerance due to fluid loss.

Yes, allergies are based on a reaction of the immune system - an overreaction or something. The intolerance is related to the digestive system - it lacks a digestive enzyme or as safe. I do not see weight gain as a side effect. An allergic reaction can be more serious. Intolerance is often encountered, such as gastro-intestinal problems. Only a doctor can actually diagnose an illness or another.
